صَبَغَت أُميَّةُ بِالدِّماءَ أَكُفَّنا

وَطَوَت أُمَيَّةُ دونَنا دُنيانا

وَطَوَت أُمَيَّةُ دونَنا دُنيانا

Umayya stained our palms with blood,

Umayyah stained our palms with blood.

and Umayya ringed off our world, shutting us out.

And Umayyah folded up our world, keeping it from us.
