O you who chide me for love, leave me be—for my heart
You who reproach me for love, leave me, for my heart
has no strength to endure being parted from love.
Has no patience to abstain from love,
When he appears in all his beauty, he wears—
When he appears in his beauty, and upon him—
he whose form captivates minds—a stately dignity.
The one whose figure captivates minds—rests dignity.
