The ship of love has anchored in passion’s sea;
The ship of love has anchored in the sea of passion.
and its voyage lies hostage to the winds of love.
And its course depends on the winds of love.
Should they blow contrary to its desire, then indeed
So if they blow contrary to its wishes, then indeed—
the winds run contrary to what ships desire.
The winds blow contrary to what ships desire.
