Every person, as he deals with others, shall be dealt with.
Every person is dealt with as he deals with others.
Glory be to Him from whom no place is empty.
Glory be to Him of whom no place is devoid.
O builder of this world, that you may dwell in it—yet
O you who build up the world to dwell in it—yet
It is not a place in which its inhabitants remain.
it is not a place where inhabitants remain.
You perish, while the earth remains after you, just as
You perish, and the earth remains after you, just as
The encampment remains while the riders journey on.
the campsite remains and the riders depart.
Shall I rejoice at every increase in this world,
Shall I rejoice at every gain in this world,
When my increase therein is itself a loss?
when my gain in it is loss?
