    And had no clothes within it but my skin.

  2. There I appear as a consecrated pilgrim, though it is no Kaaba;

    Only there was shedding my clothes permissible.

  3. With water like a lovesick lover’s tears in his heart’s heat,

    When his loved ones announce their departure.

  4. I imagined within it a piece of Hell,

    But without any touch of punishment.

  5. It raises a mist with steam, veiling

    Full moons of glass within sun-like domes.
