وعالم بالغيب من غير ما
سمع ولا قلب ولا ناظر
And a knower of the unseen, without any
hearing, heart, or eye.
يقابل الشمس فيأتي بما
في ضمنها من خبر حاضر
It faces the sun and brings forth what
lies within her of present tidings.
كأنما حاجبه مذ بدا
لعينها بالفكر والخاطر
As though its brow, since it appeared
before her eye, through thought and reflection,
قد الهمته علم ما يحتوي
عليه صدر الفلك الدائر
had been inspired by her with knowledge of what is held
within the breast of the revolving celestial sphere.
