Or in my inmost heart any place or share for you.

  2. The road has grown long for the caravan, and still

Promises are offered in many forms and kinds.

  3. And you have come while the despoiled valley and its people

    Face disasters and calamities.

  4. Reviling one another with tongues and written pages,

And these are the fiercest in battles and wars.

  5. And the foe is stationed behind both sides,

    Snatching up victor and vanquished.

  6. Anger that spills blood is less grave today than

Rancor that stirs up shameful faults and flaws.

  7. In reconciliation between them lies salvation, and perhaps

They will find in you the beloved peacemaker.

  8. So you will restore their unity and unite their views,

And your brother will soon come bearing the outcome.
