Sol 6.1

  1. I seek from you nothing but fulfillment

of your earlier promise to withdraw.

  2. After I have taken possession of the elephant's head,

am I to dwell in its long trunk?

  3. And after you gather your strength and loom

over me, will my position escape your harm?

  4. Indeed, you seek nothing but sustenance,

so that hunger may kill all creation.

  5. And if I took possession of my neighbor, I would guard

her fence and raise her standing.

  6. And to my eastern sister I

have a greater right than any western hand.
