  1. O solace of the sorrowful, and son of the homeland's protector,

    Come forth and renew the homeland's hopes.

  2. And gather its youth for the arena of life,

    So that you may prepare its endeavors for its independence.

  3. You hold a place in hearts and discerning minds;

    Time has united its beauty and its majesty.

  4. The people have found their path in your guidance,

    And the realm looks to your strength for its future.
