ومضمومة تحت حضن الدجى

مقبلة بشفاه الأماني

مقبلة بشفاه الأماني

And enfolded beneath the bosom of night,

Kissed by the lips of wishes,

تروق زهيراً أزاهيرها

تروق زهيراً أزاهيرها

ويعشو إلى ضوئها الأعشيان

ويعشو إلى ضوئها الأعشيان

Its blossoms delight Zuhayr,

And the two Aʿshās grope toward its light.
