Sol 6.1

  1. God bless al-Khalidi,

    peerless, gallant, and eminent!

  2. To rain-cloud water he offered, upon

    its freezing, the fire of the inferno;

  3. until, when the jujubes came forth

    to him from the rancor of breasts,

  4. I sent him his justification,

    from my thoughts, expressing joy:

  5. Do not reproach him, for he

    has offered cheeks to mouths.
