When he grew a beard, his turban—
Black, with green-tinged woven folds—was displayed.
And he began to swagger, with worn cloth draping softly
From his rump—silk-and-wool cloth or fennec fur.
Each day you see him girded
With a garden, amid basins and pools.
And we did not know that he was a moon
Until he donned a piece of the firmament.
