  1. A gazelle who, when he appears among his kin,

    strikes with sorrow the heart of whoever visits him.

  2. Beauty's wonders are scattered throughout him,

    and people's eyes all converge upon him.

  3. The arrows of his glances are nocked,

    so he shoots everyone who seeks a glance.

  4. Beauty has indeed written upon his cheek:

    "This one is lovely, by the One who created him!"
