إذهَبي إنَّ كُلَّ دُنيَا ضلالٌ

إذهَبي إنَّ كُلَّ دُنيَا ضلالٌ

والأَمانِيُّ عُقرهُا لِلتَّبَابِ

والأَمانِيُّ عُقرهُا لِلتَّبَابِ

Go—for all worldly life is delusion,

Go away, for all worldly life is delusion.

And hopes, at their root, lead to ruin.

And hopes—their root is destined for ruin.

لا يَرُوقَنكَ صائِرٌ لِفَنَاءٍ

لا يَرُوقَنكَ صائِرٌ لِفَنَاءٍ

كُلُّ دُنيا مَصيرُها لِلتُّرابِ

كُلُّ دُنيا مَصيرُها لِلتُّرابِ

Let nothing bound to perish beguile you:

Do not let what is destined to perish enchant you.

Every worldly life ends in dust.

Every worldly life has dust as its destination.
