Dawn has cried out to the darkness, so pour it for me—
Dawn called out to the darkness, so pour it for me:
a wine that leaves the sober-minded a fool.
Wine that leaves the prudent man foolish.
You cannot tell, for its delicacy and clarity,
Because of its delicacy and clarity, you cannot tell
whether it is in its cup, or the cup in it.
Whether it is in its cup or the cup is in it.
