There is no good in life—as a sincere adviser says—
if you do not set out drunk in the morning and return drunk in the evening,
from clear wine like a ray of the sun,
which banishes cares with all manner of joy.
I kept drinking it while the night was thick with darkness,
until sleep bowed my head down upon my cup.
