غازَلتُه وَبِكَفِّه تُفّاحةٌ

غازَلتُه وَبِكَفِّه تُفّاحةٌ

مَنقولَةٌ مِن خَدِّهِ لِبَنانِهِ

مَنقولَةٌ مِن خَدِّهِ لِبَنانِهِ

I flirted with him while an apple lay in his palm,

I kissed his palm where an apple lay

transferred from his cheek to his fingertips.

يَرمِي بِهَا مِن كَفِّه في صَدرِهِ
