ومَولىً قد لَبستُ على هَنَاتٍ

ومَولىً قد لَبستُ على هَنَاتٍ

وإلفٍ بانَ مِني غيرَ قالي

وإلفٍ بانَ مِني غيرَ قالي

And an ally I have borne with despite his failings,

And a close companion who parted from me without hating me.

وَمن لا يَلبَس المَولى مِراراً

وَمن لا يَلبَس المَولى مِراراً

على الأقذارِ ليس لهُ مُوَالي

على الأقذارِ ليس لهُ مُوَالي

And whoever does not bear with his ally time and again,

Despite his blemishes, has no loyal companion.
