صياماً إلى أن يُفطِرَ السيفُ بالدمِ

صياماً إلى أن يُفطِرَ السيفُ بالدمِ

وصمتاً إلى أن يصدح الحقُّ يا فمي

وصمتاً إلى أن يصدح الحقُّ يا فمي

Fast until the sword breaks its fast with blood,

And be silent until truth rings out, O my mouth.

أَفِطرٌ وأحرار الحمى في مجاعة؟

أَفِطرٌ وأحرار الحمى في مجاعة؟

وعيدٌ وأبطال الجهاد بمأتم؟!

وعيدٌ وأبطال الجهاد بمأتم؟!

Shall we break the fast while the homeland's free people starve?

And a feast day, while the heroes of the struggle are at a funeral?!

بلادك قدِّمها على كلِّ ملَّة

بلادك قدِّمها على كلِّ ملَّة

ومن أجلها أَفطِر ومن أجلها صُمِ!

ومن أجلها أَفطِر ومن أجلها صُمِ!

Put your country before every creed,

And for its sake break your fast, and for its sake fast!

فما مسَّ هذا الصوم أكبادَ ظلَّمٍ

فما مسَّ هذا الصوم أكبادَ ظلَّمٍ

ولا هزَّ هذا الفطرُ أرواح نوَّمِ

ولا هزَّ هذا الفطرُ أرواح نوَّمِ

For this fast has not touched the livers of oppressors,

Nor has this breaking of the fast stirred the souls of sleepers.

هبونيَ عيداً يجعل العُربَ أمَّةً

هبونيَ عيداً يجعل العُربَ أمَّةً

وسيروا بجثماني على دين بَرهمِ!!

وسيروا بجثماني على دين بَرهمِ!!

Grant me a feast day that makes the Arabs one nation,

And bear my corpse in procession according to Brahma's faith!

فقد مزَّقت هذي المذاهب شملنا

فقد مزَّقت هذي المذاهب شملنا

وقد حطمتنا بين نابٍ ومنسمِ

وقد حطمتنا بين نابٍ ومنسمِ

For these sects have torn our unity apart,

And have crushed us between fang and camel's foot.

سلامٌ على كفرٍ يوحِّد بيننا

سلامٌ على كفرٍ يوحِّد بيننا

وأهلاً وسهلاً بعده بجهنَّم.

وأهلاً وسهلاً بعده بجهنَّم.

Peace be upon unbelief that unites us,

And after that, Hell is most welcome.
