فيكافئون الحب بالعدوان

Who will tell the notables whom I love—

Who will tell the people whom I love,

and they repay love with aggression?

إنِّي على دين العروبة واقفٌ

إنِّي على دين العروبة واقفٌ

قلبي على سُبُحاتها ولساني

قلبي على سُبُحاتها ولساني

Indeed, I stand steadfast in the faith of Arabism,

Indeed, I follow the faith of Arabism, dedicating

my heart upon its rosary beads—and my tongue as well.

إنجيلي الحبُّ المقيم ُ لأهلها

والذود عن حُرُماتها فرقاني
