وأكرهُ أن أقرَّ برد قيسٍ

وأكرهُ أن أقرَّ برد قيسٍ

وأكره أن أسوءَ بني زياد

وأكره أن أسوءَ بني زياد

And I hate to consent to turning Qays away,

I dislike admitting the coolness of Qais

And I hate to distress the sons of Ziyad.

And I dislike to insult the sons of Ziyad
