With this diwan, glance away from me

You will find in it robes and elegance

Eloquent in wording, inventive in meaning

With it the garden of eloquence becomes fragrant with plucking

We witnessed it being sweetly free

Yes, it resembled clarified honey

The elegance and flair of literature comes from it

Settling in the ears of the literary with sipping

It contains wisdom with pleasure and initiated

The virtues of poetry concisely fulfilled

Abu Hasan presented it to us as outstanding

With a delicate nature in composition, refined

Its openings appeal like its endings

As the conclusions in it wrap
