حيّ عنّي المليحةَ الحسناءَ

زادَها اللَّه رفعةً وبهاءَ

Bring to life for me the beautiful, graceful one

May God increase her loftiness and splendor

كَعبة اللَّه بيته قبلةَ النا

سِ إليهِ أعظِم بهذا بناءَ

Allah's Kaaba, His house, the focus of people’s orientation

To it is this, the greatest edifice

كلُّ قَصرٍ وكلُّ برج سماءٍ

هو مِن دونها سناً وسناءَ

Every palace and heavenly towering height

Is, compared to it, years old and dated

سادتِ الأرضَ فالمساجدُ أضحت

وَالزوايا عبيدها والإماءَ

The masters of earth, thus mosques have become

And corners, Her servants and handmaidens

هيَ فاقَت على خيارِ المَباني

مِثلما فاقَ أحمد الأنبياءَ

She surpassed the best of buildings

As Ahmed surpassed all prophets

صَفوةُ العالمين أصلُ البرايا

كلّ فضلٍ منه أتى الفضلاءَ

Elite of all peoples, origin of lands

Every merit came from him to the virtuous

جاءَ والدهرُ مظلمٌ فتجلّت

منهُ فيه شمسُ الهدى فأضاءَ

He came while time was dark, so it shone

From him in it the sun of guidance and lit up

صارَ كلُّ الزمانِ منه نهاراً

وَلَقد كان ليلةً ليلاءَ

All eras became from him daylight

And it had indeed been a very dark night

جاءَ والعلمُ والفضائل والتو

حيدُ موتى فأصبحت أحياءَ

He came while knowledge, merits and divine oneness

Were dead, so they came alive

هوَ فردُ الوجودِ ما خلق اللَ

هُ لهُ في كماله نظراءَ

He is the unique existence, none created by God

Is his equal in perfection, co-evals
