وعصبة عَصَمتهم في صناعتهم

إلهة الحسن فاستهدوا بسيماها

Their unity in their craft was a fortress,

The goddess of beauty guided them with her traits,

وخلَّدوا ذكر أرباب السيوف ومن

قاق الورى حجّةً أو فاقهم جاها

And immortalized were the swordsmen of fame,

Those who surpassed the land's contention or excelled in glory,

أو خاض بحر المنايا فاجتنى درراً

وصاغ منها حُلى حسن بها باها

Or delved into the sea of death and extracted its pearls,

Fashioning beautiful adornments that amazed all who saw,

أو غاص في لج بحر العلم مجتلياً

غوامض الكون تعميماً لجدواها

Or plunged into the sea of knowledge, grasping

Its cosmic depths to expand his mind,

وآل علمٍ وفضلٍ جطار صيتهم

فطبَّق الكون أدناها وأقصاها

The houses of knowledge and merit, their fame soared,

Blanketing the earth, both far and wide,

ودَّعتها وبنفسى من محاسنها

آيات حسن يهيج الشوق ذكراها

I bid them farewell, and within me from their beauty,

Are tokens that stir longing when recalled.
