خبر أنَّ القومَ في دعوةٍ

يَرنُو إليها كلُّ أوابِ

With news that the people are invited

And all newcomers yearn for it

فصيّروني بعض جُلاسِكم

أو أخرجُوا لي بعضَ أصحابي

So make me one of your assembly
