    زهوا بتاريخ البطولة وارفلي

    Mother of the two springs, smile and be joyful

    Exult in the history of heroism and flutter

  2. أم الأسود الثأرين تحية

    بدم الشهيد كتاب مجدك سجلي

    Mother of the avenging lions, greetings

    With the martyr's blood, register your glory

  3. أم البطولة والرجولة والابا

    دكي قلاع الظالمين وزلزلي

    Mother of heroism, manliness and fathers

    Demolish the tyrants' castles and shake them

  4. أم الأباه الطيبين مآثرا

    لا زلت للاسلام أمنع معقل

    Mother of the good fathers, your feats

    Remain for Islam the sturdiest fortress

  5. يا منبت الأحرار أخوة هاشم

    المستقيم الخاشع المتبتل

    O breeder of the free, Hashimite brothers

    The upright, reverent, tested

  6. الراسخ الايمان لم يجزع ولم

    يخضع لجبار ولم يتذلل

    Steadfast in faith, undaunted and unbowed

    To any tyrant, never humiliated

  7. كالطود تهزأ بالرياح شعافة

    فتحول بين جنوبها والشمأل

    Like a towering mountain scorning the winds

    Turning them away between its peaks

  8. وكريمة الأنساب ظاهرة الذرى

    سكنت من العلياء أسمى منزل

    Noblest of lineages, highest of mansions

    You have dwelt, loftiest of abodes

  9. لم تقترف ذنبا سوى إيمانها

    بعدالة الاسلام لا بالمنجل

    Guilty only of faith in Islam's justice

    Not of the executioner's blade

  10. يا حفصة الفاروق في أيامنا

    يا مضرب الامثال في المستقبل

    O Hafsa of the Farouk, in our days

    O epitome of the future exemplar

  11. لله صدرك ما انحنى لرصاصة

    من حاقد أو ملحد متحلل

    God, your chest never bowed to a bullet

    From any hater or atheist dissolute

  12. أم الربيعين اعذري متألما

    ذا غصة وتأمل وتحمل

    Mother of the two springs, forgive my pain

    Agony, contemplation and endurance

  13. ما كل ما حفظ الفؤاد أبثه

    بتمامة وإذا سكت يحق لي

    Not all the heart has kept do I pour out

    With perfection, and if I am silent, I have the right

  14. ما خفت مؤتمر السلام ولا غفت

    لك مقلة كالصابر المتجمل

    Neither did I fear the peace conference nor sleep

    You have a steadfastness like the stoic composed

  15. وبصرت بالكفر اللئيم يؤزه

    حقد على إسلامك المتأصل

    And I saw vile disbelief insulting

    Your deep-rooted Islam, hatefully imposed

  16. فصرخت في وجه الطغاة أبية

    والناس بين مرجع ومحوقل

    So I cried defiantly in the tyrants' faces

    While people wavered, confused and distraught

  17. وصمدت للبلوى كما صمد الألى

    فكشفت كل مشعو ذو مضلل

    And you withstood tribulations like the lofty peaks

    Exposing every devious misleading guide

  18. ونشرت ألوية الفدا خفاقة

    فوق الروابي كالسماك الأعزل

    And raised the banners of sacrifice billowing

    Over the hills bare like an unarmed hero

  19. حفظت دين محمد من ظالم

    طاغ ومن متجبر متبذل

    You safeguarded Muhammad's faith from an unjust

    Arrogant tyrant and from a vile transgressor

  20. يا فتية الحدباء أنتم قدوة

    للناهضين الأوفياء الكمل

    O lads of Hadebah, you are examples

    To sincere loyal risers of perfection

  21. الصادقين إذا تلجلج غيرهم

    ومجاهدين من الطراز الأول

    True when others waver in confusion

    And mujahideen of the finest breed

  22. والثابتين إذا الخطوب تزاحمت

    يتدرعون لها بصبر أجمل

    Steadfast when hardships amass

    Shielding them with the most beautiful patience

  23. ماذا أعدد من بطولات لكم

    ستضيء آفاق الغد المستقبل

    What feats of heroism shall I recount for you

    That will illuminate the horizons of the future?

  24. وبأي قافية أصوغ ملاحما

    تتلى على مر الزمان بمحفل

    And in what rhyme shall I compose epics

    To be recited through time in assemblies?

  25. شهداؤكم ملأوا والجنان فنصفها

    للعالمين ونصفها للموصل

    Your martyrs have filled paradise, half of it

    For the worlds, and half for Mosul

  26. وقسمتم قيد الفخار فنصفه

    للعالمين ونصفه للموصل

    You have divided the pride of pottery, half of it

    For the worlds and half for Mosul

  27. يا فتية الحدباء لا تنسوا دما

    ظلما أريق وخسة من أرذل

    O lads of Hadebah, do not forget blood

    Spilled unjustly, and the vilest dishonor

  28. لا تنسوا المذبوح من أطفالكم

    ونسائكم ومن الشيوخ العزل

    Do not forget the children murdered from among you

    And your women and aged isolated

  29. لا تنسوا العرض المصون يلوثه

    علج تنشأ في الحضيض الأسفل

    Do not forget the guarded honor defiled

    By vicious beasts spawned in the lowest pits

  30. لا تنسوا القرآن مزقه العمى

    حقدا وداس حروفه بالأرجل

    Do not forget the Quran torn up in blindness

    Hatred, its letters trampled underfoot

  31. يا فتية الحدباء صونوا دينكم

    وذروه يغلي في الصدور كمرجل

    O lads of Hadebah, guard your faith

    And keep it boiling in hearts like a furnace

  32. لنرد كل عقيدة مدخولة

    بعقيدة أسمى ونهج أمثل

    We will refute each corrupted doctrine

    With a loftier creed and more perfect path

  33. ونبث في الأجيال أوضح فكرة

    قامت على هدي الكتاب المنزل

    And instill in generations the clearest concept

    Based on the guidance of the revealed Book

  34. ونصد كيد الملحدين بهمه

    لم تنحرف يوما ولم تتبدل

    And foil the atheists' plots with a resolve

    Never deviating from the straight path

  35. ونسير والتاريخ يشهد أننا

    سرنا على نهج النبي المرسل

    And we shall go on, history witnessing

    We have trod the way of the Prophet sent
