  1. طَرَقَ الخَيالُ فَمَرحَباً سَهلا

    بخيالِ مَن أَهدَى لنا الوَصلا

    Imagination knocked, so welcome, easy path,

    To the imagination of one who gifted us connection.

  2. وسَرى إِليَّ وَدونَ مَنزِلِهِ

    خَمسٌ دَوائمُ تُعمِلُ الإِبِلا

    And it flowed to me, and before its destination,

    Were five constants working the camels.

  3. يَا حَبَّذا مَن زَار مُعتَسِفاً

    حَزنَ البِلادِ إِليَّ والسَّهلا

    O how wonderful is one who visits distressed,

    The sorrow of the country to me and the plains,

  4. حَتَّى أَلَمَّ بِنَا فَبِتُّ بِهِ

    أَغنَى الخَلائِقَ كُلِّهم شَملا

    Until he stayed with us, so I spend the night with him,

    The richest of all creations, perfect inclusion.

  5. يا حَبَّذا هِي حَسبَ قَدك بها

    واللّهِ ما أَبقَيتَ لِي عَقلا

    O how wonderful - it is enough - your height with it,

    By Allah, you left me no sanity.

  6. واللَّهِ مالي عَنكِ مُنصَرَفٌ

    إِلاَّ إِلَيكِ فَأَجملي الفِعلا

    By Allah, I have no diversion from you,

    Except to you, so beautify the deed.
