طاب الحديث بذكر المطربات فذا
يوم التهاني ويوم العفو والكرم
The talk was good with the mention of the singers, so
A day of congratulations and a day of pardon and generosity
يوم تكامل فيه السعد وانتشرت
فيه المسرة بالأفواه والقلم
A day in which happiness was completed and spread
In it is joy with mouths and pen
يوم به أصبح الاسلام مبتهجا
والدين مرتفعا والكفر في ضرم
A day in which Islam has become happy
And the religion lofty and disbelief in affliction
يوم به خصنا المولى وفضلنا
منا وفضلا وبالبيتين والحرم
A day in which the Master singled us out and preferred
Us with preference and with the two holy mosques
يوم السرور على طول الزمان لنا
من بعد مولد خير العرب والعجم
A day of joy for us for the length of time
After the birth of the best of Arabs and non-Arabs
يوم استواء امير المؤمنين على
عرش الخلافة مرفوعا على الامم
A day when the Commander of the Faithful took over
The throne of the caliphate, elevated above the nations
يوم تنورت الاقطار وانتظمت
فيه العساكر نظما غير منثلم
A day when the regions were illuminated and the
Armies were organized in it in an unblemished order
مصطفة لدعاء النصر لاهجة
بذكر عبد الحميد الطيب الشبم
Mustafa for the prayer of victory inspired
By mentioning Abd al-Hamid al-Tayyib al-Shabam
سلطاننا معشر الاسلام قاطبة
شرقا وغربا بيلا ريب ولا جرم
Our Sultan, all of Islam together
East and west without doubt or sin
تاج الملوج جمال الدهر غرته
وبدر هالة دين المصطفى العلم
Crown of turbans, beauty of the age, his valor
And the full moon, halo of the religion of Mustafa the flag
حاز المفاخر أعلاها وأكملها
فوصفه ببيان معجز القلم
He has achieved the highest and most perfect glories
So describe him with the miraculous eloquence of the pen
دع معجزات روس الله خالصة
وصف بكل كمال كوكب الظلم
Leave the miracles of the intimate friends of God aside
And describe with every perfection the planet of darkness
حدث عن البحر ما في ذاك من حرج
ولن توفي حق الأمن والسلم
Talk about the sea, there is no embarrassment in that
And you will not fulfill the right of security and peace
