1. The baths of Korbous have revealed among their benefits

    what cannot be numbered, nor the telling of any mouth enumerate.

  2. Their air is pure, and their use takes many forms,

    with modes by which the afflicted find relief.

  3. First among them are drinking, bathing, and purging,

    and eating tender meat, its morsels well cooked.

  4. This is a seven-day preliminary course;

    then follow it with seven more—take them, and do not blame.

  5. Drink the water of herbs after it has boiled;

    in the morning you will see what wisdom lies within it.

  6. After this, surely praise the Lord of all creatures, for

    He has healed and banished every pain within the body.

  7. Glory be to the Creator of all within the universe, its Originator,

    who consigns all things, after creation, to nonbeing.

  8. He guided His servants to put His wisdom to use,

    that they might benefit through sheer grace and generosity.
