I send my greetings as a gift

To the sheikh of the path, generous Atiya

Whose wisdom Jelfa is endowed with

Giving it distinction among cities

He guides the Bedouins with religious teachings

So souls trembled when the harbinger came one evening

And the devoted soul yearned for meeting him

So accept my greetings, O noble sheikh, as an offering
