وهي الحياة إذا تحيّي قبلة

رمزا على الترحيب والتأهيل

A symbol of welcome and qualification

أ فلا نرد على الحياة تحية

ما عقّها في الكون أي بخيل ؟

Shall we not return life's greeting?

No miser in the world rejected it

أفلا نرجّع غنوة التقبيل!

وتحية الدنيا لخير نزيلِ ؟

Shall we not echo back the melody of kissing!

And the greeting of the world to the best guest!
