لك الله من هاجرِ

كأنك في ناظري

To you, God, I have migrated

As if in my eyes

ترى أنت رحت أم

البشر أقلع عن خاطري

You see, did you leave or

Have people departed from my thoughts

أعيش على الذكريات

وأهفو إلى الغابرِ

I live on memories

And yearn for the past

وأرقب بعد غد

وأهرب من حاضري

And await the day after tomorrow

And escape from my present
