When will we meet, and where is the meeting place?

يا حبيبي لقد أطلت عذابي

ففؤادي يذوب في آماقي

أدنُ مني فدتكَ نفسي ولا تبخل

فقلبي يفيضُ بالأشواق

Come close to me, I ransom myself for you

For my heart overflows with longing

يا حبيبي تعال قبّل جبيني

لا يطيب الهوى بغير عناق

My love, come kiss my forehead

Love brings no joy without an embrace

ولعمري لا ابتغي منك إلا

قبَلاً من لماك والأحداقِ
