وَعُرّيتُ مِن مالٍ وَخَيرٍ جَمَعتُهُ

كَما عُرِّيَت مِمّا تُمِرُّ المَغازِلُ

I am stripped of wealth and good I had amassed

As spindles are stripped of the thread they twist
