صفق القلب اذ نظر
غادة تسلب النظر
My heart throbbed when it saw

ان ثنت لين عطفها
ينثني الغصن والحجر
If she sways her gentle arm
The branch and rock bend
ركبت من لطافة
ان نمت يختفي الاثر
She's made of such gentleness
That if she sleeps no trace remains
انها الحسن صورت
في كثير من الصور
She is the image of beauty
In many images
قلت يا غادة انظري
ان قلبي قد انفطر
I said: O Gada look
For my heart is shattered
ثائر كل ثائر
مثل بركان استعر
Rebel, every rebel
Like a flaming volcano
انظري كيف انه
خافق طائر الشرر
