عبد الإنسان أصنام البشر
فهو في عدم وذل محتقر
The human is a slave to the idols of mankind

قيصر العسف وكسرى قيدا
منه جيدا ثم رجلا ويدا
Caesar of tyranny and Chosroes in shackles
His neck then his foot and hand
ومن القسيس والملك طلاب
بخراج الحقل والحقل خراب
And from the priest and the king students

بث في برد الرماد الشعلا
فعلى برويز فرهاد علا
He ignited in the cold ashes the flames
So Farrukh ascended on the throne
سلب السلطان حزب الآمرين
فسما بالحق قدر العاملين
He stripped the sultan of the party of commanders
So he appointed by the truth the value of the workers
عزمه هد قديمات الصور
وبنى حصنا جديدا للبشر
His determination destroyed the ancient figures
And built a new fortress for mankind
بث روحا حيت الموتى بها
وافتدى الأعبد من أربابها
He breathed a spirit by which the dead came alive
And ransomed the most enslaved from their masters
مولد مات به العصر القديم
وبيوت النار والوثن حطيم
A birth by which the ancient era died
And the houses of fire and idols fell
أزهر التحرير في روضته
هذه الصهباء من كرمته
The renaissance blossomed in its meadow
This brilliant woman from his generosity
عصرنا الألاء في أنواره
فتح الأعين في أحجاره
Our magnificent era in its lights
The opening of eyes in its stones
خط في العالم سطرا مبدعا
أمة فاتحة قد أبدعا
He wrote in the world an innovative line
A nation occurred wondrously
صدرها من وقدة الحق أضاء
ذرة منها أنارت في ذكاء
Its position from the fire of truth shone
A speck of which enlightened with intelligence
أشرق الكون بها إذ يبتنى
كعبات من بيوت الوثن
The universe shone with it when
Kaaba's were built from houses of idols
ولدتها الأنبياء القدم
فإذا الأتقى لديها الأكرم
The old prophets born it
So the most devout with it the most generous
إخوة فيها جميع المؤمنين
طينها حرية في العالمين
Brothers in it all believers
Its clay is freedom in both worlds
المساواة لديها فطرة
ومن التمييز فيها نفرة
Equality for it is instinct
And for discrimination in it abhorrence
نسلها كالسرو حر قد علا
عهدها أحكم من قالوا بلى
Its progeny like the cypress free ascended
Its era more solid than those who said "yes"
