تارك الآفل من قبل الخليل
هو للرسل على النهج دليل
The one who left Afl before Khalil
Is a guide for the messengers on the path
إنه لله فينا آية
ربيت في قلبه ذي الملة
He is a sign from God among us
I nurtured the one of this faith in my heart
طهرا بيتي إليه أنزلا
بعد سيل من دموع سيلا
He purified my house, to which he descended
After floods of tears flooding
قفرة من أجلنا قد عمرا
وبنى البيت الذي قد طهرا
It was desolate for our sake which he populated
And built the house which he had purified
تب علينا نضرت زهرتها
فنمت في أرضنا روضتها
He repented for us, his blossoms glowed
So it grew in our land, its meadows
صور الرحمن منا هيكلا
وحباه الروح مما أنزلا
He shaped from us a temple of the Merciful
And endowed it with the spirit from what he descended
أحرفا كنا ولسنا كلما
فتألفنا كبيت نظما
We were letters and were not words
So we were composed like a structured poem
بالرسالات بدا تكويننا
شرعنا منها ومنها ديننا
With the messages, our formation began
We derived from them our religion
ذاك من يهدي إليه من يريد
حلقة منها حوالينا يشيد
That is the one who guides to Him whom he wills
He builds around us a circle
حلقة ذات محيط يعجز
ساحة البطحاء فيها مركز
A circle with limitless circumference
In it the plain of Batha is the center
نحن مما جمعتنا أمة
أرسلت للناس فيها الرحمة
We are of what gathered us as a nation
In it the mercy was sent to the people
موجنا في بحرها متصل
موجة من موجة لا تفصل
Our wave in its sea is connected
A wave from a wave does not separate
أمة في حرز سور الحرم
في حفاظ مثل أسد الأجم
A nation in the shield, the fence of the sanctuary
In the protection like a lion of bravery
إن تحقق ممعنا في كلمى
نظرة الصديق رب الفهم
If the meaning in my words is realized
The look of the truthful Lord of understanding
فالنبي الروح فينا والعصب
وإلى القلب من الرب أحب
For the prophet is the spirit within us and the bond
And to the heart from the Lord most beloved
سفره في القلب نبع القوة
شرعه حبل وريد الأمة
His scripture in the heart the source of strength
His law a rope of the nation’s vein
قطع حبل منه للموت رديف
كذبول الورد في ريح الخريف
Cutting a rope from it is akin
To the withering of roses in the winds of autumn
حيت الأمة من ترياقه
صبحها نور من إشراقه
It gave life to the nation from its antidote
Its dawn the light of its shining
وحد المرسل فينا النغما
والطوايا والمنى والألما
And united the messengers in us the tune
And the ambitions, the wishes, and the pains
كثرة الألاف عين الوحدة
ومن الوحدة نشء الأمة
The abundance of thousands the eye of oneness
And from oneness the nation was born
وحدة القصد حياة الكثرة
مقصد المسلم دين الفطرة
The oneness of purpose is life of the multitude
The purpose of the Muslim the religion of primordial nature
علم الفطرة خير الرسل
فمضينا للهدى كالشعل
The knowledge of primordial nature the best of messengers
So we went to guidance like the flame
بحره أخرج هذا الجوهرا
نحن روح واحد منه سرى
Its sea brought out this gem
We are one spirit from it diffused
هذه الوحدة ما لم تفقد
تحفظ المسلم حتى الأبد
This oneness if not lost
Protects the Muslim until the end of time
ختم الله علينا شرعته
وعلى المرسل فينا بعثته
God sealed upon us His law
And upon the messengers within us His message
محفل الأيام منا يبسم
ختم الرسل بنا والأمم
The gathering of days through us smiles
Sealed the messengers and the nations through us
خدمة الساقي إلينا صرفا
جامه الآخر فينا خلفا
The service of the water bearer to us allotted
His last cup through us inherited
لا نبي بعد فضل عرفا
إنه حزمة دين المصطفى
No prophet after, more virtuous recognized
He is the bundle of the religion of Mustafa
إنه قوة هذي الملة
إنه سر اتحاد الأمة
He is the strength of this nation
He is the secret of the unity of the nation
كل دعوى بعدها للأفن
أحكم الإسلام طول الزمن
Every claim after it is doomed
Islam forever firmly established
ما سوى الحق قلاه المسلم
قائلا لا قوم بعدي فاعلموا
Nothing but truth did the Muslim say
Saying after me no nation so know
