You have won and received good news, so your happiness has shone

With the auspicious birth of the one who brings happiness and generosity

So congratulations on the newborn and congratulations to the father

Of noble character, sublime rank and great ambition

My brother Ahmad Al-Mahmoud, created with fine manners

The brother of loyalty, most faithful of companions to promises

The young man of righteousness, Ibrahim, ennobled with a young man

Cultured, intelligent, his virtue not concealed

O brother of virtue, may you always be congratulating

As this son continues to bring you joy

May he delight your eyes, my Lord, out of Your bounty

And may He protect him from the afflictions of fate, should they come

And greetings of peace, and good fortune dated

For Ahmad Abdullah, and goodness has set out
