إن يوماً لم الق فيه حبيباً

حفظ الله من غدا لانتزاهٍ

فرح النفس دام في الأنس يغدو

May God preserve one whose being lights me up

Whose joy makes my soul delighted day after day

من يكن مثله كريم خلال

حصل الفخر في الحياة وبعد

One who is generous and pure like he is

Attains glory in life and beyond

دام يرقى معارج الفضل سامٍ

في رفاهٍ وعمره فيه مد

As long as he climbs the heights of nobility

Enjoying prosperity, his life everlasting
