ويطلع الإحساس بحر

In a moment a poem explodes

And feeling emerges like a sea

نور الشمس في مقلتيك

نايم مع الريد في خدر

The light of sun in your eyelashes

Sleeping with bliss in numbness

حتى النهار الصاحي بيك

لا ضوى بعدك لا حضر

Even the awake day through you

No warmth without you, no civilization

والنيل سكب ليك دمعتين

من تيهو دفق وانهمر

And the Nile poured two teardrops for you

From sighs flowing and flooding

موج في الضلوع

شلال دموع خاطرو انكسر

A wave in the ribs

A waterfall of tears of sorrow that broke

أجج طريق الشوق شموع

فتح المدارات ليك ممر

The path of longing lit candles

Opening orbits for you a passage

وإحساس رهيف

يلهب رحيق دنك مطر

And a subtle feeling

Igniting the nectar of your light rain

يترجى في الأيام تقيف

ويخاف من اللحظات تمر

Hoping in the days to meet

And fearing from the moments that pass

ما الوهلة في الحس الشفيف

في غمضة تتمدد عمر

What is the glimpse in the keen feeling

In a blink expanding life

مكتوب على الحاضر خريف

ونزيف بفتش عن جزر

Written on the present is autumn

And bleeding searching for islands

يا همسة الوطن العفيف

يا لمسة الوعد الأغر

O whisper of the chaste homeland

O touch of the honest promise

سفر الكلام الفي العيون

حاضن في أنفاسو الزهر

The journey of words in the eyes

Embracing its breaths the flowers

يتهادى في ليل الشجون

شايل صبابات السهر

Swaying in the night of sorrows

Bearing the cups of insomnia

خصلات نضارك ما بتغيب

وربيع حريرك بان ظهر

Your lush locks do not disappear

And your silky spring has appeared

كل الزمان بيك بستريح

والدنيا إحساس مزدهر

All time through you feels comfort

And the world is a flourishing feeling

أحزاني جنبك صوتها راح

والحلم في وجودك عبر

My sorrows beside you their voice is gone

And the dream in your existence crossed over

لي لحظة ما بتعرف نواح

لى نجمة في وقت السحر

I have a moment that does not know crying

I have a star in the time of dawn

كان ملتقانا الفي الخيال

لمحة حقيقة وكان قدر

Our meeting was in the imagination

A glimpse of truth and it was fate

وكان الهوى الزاهي وحنين

رحلة أمان لي كل بر

And it was love, brilliant and yearning

A journey of safety for me in every land

ليك يا حبيب وهج السنين

عشق المسافات والسفر

For you, my love, the glow of years

The passion of distances and travel

أشواقها من حسنك تبين

وأحلامها في صحوك خطر..

Its longing from your beauty appears

And its dreams in your consciousness occurred
