    The banner of Arabism rose proudly,

    Its sash adorning the sky.

    Then, in his words: They voiced their aim in Hala,

    Where struggle upholds the truth in its radiance.

    They sought death upon its soil and thus won

    A dignified life that is rarely granted.

    The giant broke the chains: the Nile is no Euphrates,

    Nor is the Euphrates clear water.

    The Suez Canal is no mere basin,

    Al-Bayda no garden, nor Al-Buraimi a pasture.

    Flames have blazed in every mountain pass

    Where the morning breeze was gentle and daisies swayed.

    We held fast to the firm bond of unity,

    And sword blades pressed against hearts.

  16.  

    Bright ideals lit the road for us,

    And noble, radiant, clear hopes.

  17.  

    We set forth, our feet shaking the earth,

    And a wing of ours folding up the sky.

  18.    

     

    One goal brought together

    Free souls whose intentions were sound.
