To replace my beloved

ـني لست أشكو مضضا

Forget what has passed

وأتاني باسماً

شيقا منتفضا

And he had come to me with

An endearing name, ecstatic

وارتمى بين ذرا

عيّ مجيباً بالرضى

And fallen into my arms

Responding with pleasure
