This is the bell of my staff, this is the adulterous mountain
And this is the condemned soul with a fleeting spirit
So do not knock on his window, for he is a candle
That the dark conceals from your flirtatious star
But light a step on his path
For free radiance is a human step
So this is a fence that was not a bird’s shadow
But the shadow of a tyrannical rock
It is the wilderness that does not irrigate, yet in its plains
Are meteors of betrayal from the pelted mountain
The staff’s bell may make the mud blossom
With a fragrance wafting over the dilapidated ruins
And fire is but kindling its roots
To live, so be the kindler, the wakeful lover
And this is soil, in which its fire still burns
Even if the breeze, its extinguisher, blew it away
So gather some firewood, a statue of a forest
And call to it the far and the near
For it was the harbor of life, its porch
Farewell to colors, meet other colors
And when the night lights all its stars
And from the waves arises the cry of a storm
Pour into it the fire that did not suit it
Even if two eyes had spilled it before you
And call to it the child who still has
To burn the dreams of life with branches
And say to it as the clouds swoop down with its embers
And draw tablets with the pen of the Divine
Peace to the baby's protector from its mother's breast
Peace to the drowning man who does not wave his arms
