My heart that was like a flourishing flower
Why has it become thirsty after love?
It beats painfully in my broken ribs
Sometimes, and throbs with passion other times
Neither does the night extinguish the pain it harbors
Nor does the morning heal the tenderness in it
Oh how the passions have pained me through the nights
How sweet is love, if not for the fact that it has become humiliated
Thanks to those who ignited their love in my heart
And offered it to oblivion as an offering
And awakened in it a sincere pulse, and forgot
That the one who carries feeling is human
I asked you by what has weakened your feelings
Give me back my calmness as it was
