قالوا أبَالُكَ مشغولٌ فقلتُ لهُم:

وكيفَ يهدأُ لي بالٌ وقد رحلوا

They said your mind is preoccupied, so I told them:

How can my mind be at ease when they are gone

كُلُّ التفاصيلِ مازالتْ بِذاكرتي

فالشوقُ في داخلي ماعادَ يُحتمَلُ

All the details are still in my memory

So longing inside me has become unbearable

مُذّ خلفوني وحيدَ الروح بعدهُمُ

والعينُ تبكي ونبضُ القلبِ مُشتعِلُ

Since they left me, my soul alone after them

My eyes weep and my heart's pulse is inflamed

غابوا ولكنني ما زلتُ أحفظُهم

أحبّةً ليس في قلبي لهم بدلُ

They're gone but I still keep them

As loved ones, none can replace them in my heart

أنا المُحِبُّ الذي بالعهدِ ملتزمٌ

أنا الوفيُّ لهم حتى وإن رحلوا..!

I am the lover who keeps his vow

I am the faithful one to them even if they left!
