1. أرأيت إذا وُلد السلامْ

    فنَوْه من قبل الفطامْ؟

    يد أمِّه كأسَ الحِمام

  4. لهفي عليه ممزَّق الْـ

    أَوْصال منتشر العِظام!

    عصفًا وغطّاه القتام

    It's the same: one who lived in palaces or one who lived in tents.

    The spilled blood doesn't quench the thirst of the thirsty when drunk.

  6. فمضى شهيدًا؛ ماله

    قبر يُزار ولا مَقام

    The most pleasing thing to their eyes are corpses and skulls.

    Man is made of the redness of blood and wine.

  7. ليس السَّلام بسائدٍ

    مادام في الدنيا حُطام

    If the wolf learned order, it would be like man.

    Both are beasts, the fangs seek food.

  8. ما النَّاس إلا الناسُ في

    عصر الضياء أو الظلام

    It's the same in killing: the lion's claw or the edge of the sword.

    بُ اللَّيث، أو حدُّ الحسام

    عيَّ اللسان عن الكلام

    ما حدُّ من خَفَرَ الذِّمام؟

    زَى أم بصَارم الانتقام؟

  30. ولَّى زمانُ القيصريَّـ

  31. أو ما رأيت الحكْم با

    تَ الآن في أيدي الطَّغام؟

  32. ولقد مشيت القهقرَى

    ومشى الزمانُ إلى الأمام

  33. أئذا صفا جوّ السلا

    م زفرتَ؛ فانتشر الغمام؟

  34. رحماك! هل تشكو إلي

    ك الأرضُ من هَول الزحام؟

  35. لم تخْبُ نارُ الفتنة الـ

    ـكُبرى وجُرْحُ الكون دام

  36. ولقد تحدَّيْتَ الأنا

    م؛ فكنت سخريَة الأنام

  37. أسرفتَ ويحك فاتئد

    ماذا جنى أبناء حام؟

  38. لا تحْسَبنَّ مرابضَ الآ

    ساد سهلة الاقتحام

  39. هذي معاقلهم فمن

    لك بالبواذخ من شمام؟

  40. ها هم خصومُك حول شـ

    ـطَّ «المنش» إن رمت الخصام

  41. القابضون على «جنيـ

    ـفَ» ورَهْطِها مثلَ السوام

  42. قالوا: الحصارُ؛ فأَذعنَتْ

    «والقولُ ما قالت حذام»

  43. اتَخذوا على «روما» المسا

    لك فهْي في ضيق المسام

  44. عجبي على باغ يقو

    ل لمن بَغى: هذا حرام!

  45. استعمروا فتلثّموا

    وخرجت مكشوفَ اللِّثام

  46. رمْتَ التنمر مثلهم

    فظهرت في ريش النعام

  47. شررٌ «بروما» طار، يو

    شك أن يكون له ضرام

  48. الشعب هُدِّد بالطوَّى

    والجيشُ بالموت الزؤام

  49. يتساءل الأقوام: هل

    «نيرونُ» بعد الموت قام؟

  50. زعزعت أركان السلا
