البيت ما لم تأوه
كالدَّيْرِ، أو كالمسجد
The house without your sighs
Is like a monastery or mosque
أعزِزْ على أبيك أن
تصمُتَ صمتَ الأبد!
Insist on keeping silent to your father
The silence of eternity!
ما أبعد الصبرَ على
فقد الصبيِّ الأملد!
How hard is patience

صادٍ أصاب منهلاً
لكنه لم يرد
An archer hit a spring

كما عاقر بدونهم
