جَفَّ الكرى عكس الدموع معاً دما

صبت وحُقَّ لها تَصُبُّ معندما

The tear has dried up with sorrow altogether

I poured it out and it deserves to pour forth when

شوقاً لأهل الحوض نعم بلاده

ولنعم أهل بلاده وتنعّما

Yearning for the people of Al-Hawd, yes their country

And for the bliss of the people of that country enjoying ease

فهي البلاد وأهلها أهل الهوى

وهم لِمُعمىً منه ينجو من عمى

For that country and its people are the people of love

And they are for a blind man from it, one who escapes blindness

وهم لِمُعمىَ من مروءة دينه

أبصار تبصر في الليالي المظلما

And they are for a blind man from manliness of his religion

Sights that see in the darkest nights

فالحوض من حوض النبي سموهُ

وسمو أهل الحوض حقاً قد سما

Al-Hawd is named after the Prophet’s Hawd

And the people of Al-Hawd were rightly named

ولقد أحَال وبرق دون بلاده

واطْرَبُلُسٍّ ثم تونس معلما

He encamped and flashed close to his country

And Tripoli then Tunis as landmarks

وجبال مَنْطَ جبال الأندلس التي

منها وفيهَ عبارة لم تحسما

And the mountains of Manṭ, the mountains of al-Andalus which

Some of it and in it a clue that has not been resolved

واقدامسٌ واخزيرة مع طنجةٍ

وتِطاوَنُ وارْباط واسْل متوءَما

And Oujda and Al-Khazir with Tangier

And Tetouan and Rabat and Salé paired

وادزائرٌ طرٌ وفاسٌ غربه

مكناس أو مراكش تشمنهما

And Algiers, Tlemcen and Fes in the west

Meknes or Marrakesh you find them

والحوز ثم أصويرةٌ أو سوسه

أو وادِ نُونَ وأرْضه متضرما

And Al-Hawz then Assouir, or Souss

Or Oued Noun and its land kindled

أو واد درأة في البحار مصبه

وسواقي ساقي حمرة صباً لما

Or Oued Draa where it flows into the sea

With drinking streams of Saguia El Hamra pouring when

وأكويس ثم رَواد صفصافٌ يُرى

وأَزيكُ وامْسَرْدادُ لا معيذ رْحما

And Akouis then Ouad and Sefsaf

And Azgour and M’sirda with no asylum of mercy

أوإيتق والحدب ثم بلاده

وامْرَيْكِلٌ ومهامه تعي اللما

Or Ait Yusouf and Al-Hdib then his country

And Amrekl and its environs, you understand the goals

ذي تيرس آدرارُ أجل

زمورُيت واسعات كالحما

With a Tirs wastelands Adrar lofty

And wide Zmourit and Al-Mazam and Oued Wizn committed

أو كاغط وحمائد وامرية

وكثير إن عددتُه لن يفهما

S’tioua their hands in gratitude

And Ourui and Abiar yes protected dens

فتحيرت وظواهري أصحابنا

فتعجبا ببواطني مترنما

And springs of Anouan white Khadals that betray

With fresh waters smiling gently

بعزائم وزعائم قد جربت

كل التجارب معزمات مزعما

Maidens and a hidden pearl eye

Luring with slack hips erect

بتذكر وتشوق وتلهف

لمواطن وحبائب متكلما

Arabs and Bedouins, gazelles whose affection

Is an affection for a merchant when he divides

بعيون فتْح سُط وأنول بجة

وعيون محمود اللواء مهذرما

So when I looked at her, I looked upon a look

Like a moon shining in deep darkness

وأفارَ واتْرُشِين واسعة ترى

واملازمٌ وأوادُ ويْزُن ملزما

And if I touched her silk, I felt it

Like peach and a branch when it is gently handled

سِتريةُ الأيدين شكْراطيِلُهم

وأُرَيُّ والأبيار نعمَ محرجما

So over there if you see with an observant eye

And a heart put forward coming forward

وأنوانسٍ بيض خَدالٍ تخذلُ

ببوارق عذب بروقاً مبسما

You will know that our country has not been granted

After it by anyone saying that, deterring

حورٌ وعينٌ لؤلؤ مكنونة

تسبي بفاتر شادن متقوما

And evidence of that is Mecca from the towns

And Medina your mount, it is forbidden from it

عرباً وأتراباً كواعب هبُّها

هَبٌ لفارة تاجر إذ يقسما

And Mina, Dhiba, Judhaidh and Muzdalifah

Arafat, Safa with Marwah and Hunain or

فإذا نظرت إليها تنظر منظراً

قمراً يلوح بظلمة متظلما

Asfan, Harsha’, Khulais not far off

And Suez which he through it was called

وإذا لمست حريرة جسيتها

حِقْفاً وغصناً إذ تميسُ مبرعما

May Allah have mercy on Muhammad through it so have mercy

A servant of the Merciful, I seek refuge and he is exalted

فهناك إن تُبْصِرْ بِبَصْرٍ باصر

وفؤاد مقدم قادمٍ متقدما

For the sake of the beloved when he smiled and established

And I saw in this young man a youthful

تعلم بأن بلادنا لم يُنْئِها

بعدٌ وقائل ذاك صرم مصرما

Travel, well-formed, not rejecting a proposer

Memorizing knowledge and weighing it with pure

ودليل ذاك بان مكة مِ القرى

ومدينة بقراك عنها مبرما

Manners and conduct, he adorns it with generosity growing

So I accompanied him on the path, a good companion

ومنى زبيد جدحد ومشعرا

عرفات مزدلفات رابغ زمزما

And a generous one from his people like a bond

It suffices you to dislike and distance every one

بدر صفا مع مروة وحنين أو

عسفان هرشى خلَيصُ لاقصير الرما

Who makes you forget yourself with risks for you preceding

So if you trace his lineage, noble is the lineage

واسويس والوجه الذي بهْ قد نُعي

رحم الإله محمداً بِهْ فارحما

And if you serve him, you serve for yourself a servant

So reckon him in your soul happily when you cheer

عبداً لرحمانٍ أضيف وقد علا

لحبوسُ حين تبنه وتخيما

And reckon him cautiously, fearing him, unyielding

And bliss, then good and good for him

ولقد رأيت بذا الفتى سفراً فتي

بشراً سوياً لا يرد غشمشما

And not for me from him one who swerves

And all of Egypt and its fences I have toured

حفظ العلوم وزانها خلقا صفا

حسناً وخلقاً زانه بسخى نما

And Alexandria in it one who bears adversity

For traveling by sea and traveling is for Tangier

فصحبته بطريق نعم المصحب

وكريمة من قومه كالمعصما

In which there are plains I attained imagining

So through this the other is made easy for you and its remoteness

يدنيك أن تسخط ويبعد كل من

ينساك عنك مخاطراً لك قدما

If they are separated, especially it has flamed

Yearning for the Qutb of the universe all

فإذا نسبت نسبته شرف النسب

وإذا خدمت خدمته لك مخدما

The collection of knowledge, its knowledge will not bore me

With streets for laws and truths

فتخاله بسرور نفسك إذ تسر

وتظنه حذراً تخافُهُ ضيغما

For its fountains, scattering and pouring of the heaven

And its loftiness elevates to the throne of our God

ولنعم ثم وحبذا ولنعم هو

ولبيس عندي من لي عنه يصرما

And for its furnishings a throne and furnishing greater

And its definitive limits of our Creator shone forth

وجميع مصر وسورها قد أخلفت

واسكندرية ذا بها متلوما

Judgment for them with a truthful herd directed

And eternal delights of benign bliss

لركوب بحر والركوب لطنجة

وبها صحار نلتها متوهما

For the Patron generosity in which honored

So He is the virtuous, the meritorious, the merciful

فبذا يهون عليك ذاك ونأيه

إن أفردا لا سيما قد أضرما

With Muhammad it rises praiseworthy, He honors

Preference do more before attached my

شوق لقطب الكون قاطبة جمع

جمع العلوم علومه لن تسئما

Hand inclines to it by willingness accustomed

With purpose for it by excellence and astonishment

بمشارع لشرائع وحقائق

لمعينها سحٌّ وتسكاب السما

And indeed it was prolonged in it, I do more after

And likewise I do more for favor it attributes

وسموها يسمو لعرش إلهنا

ولفرشها عرشٌ وفرش أعظما

To willingness of the praiser in it so it necessitates

And likewise yes and good for it

وحواسم لعدات بارئنا برت

حسماً لهم بقطيع بار محسما

And its example most generous with it most merciful

And better comes or more righteous and good for

ومخلدات من نعيم ناعم

لمواله كرماً بها متكرما

A sun he, shining and most generous

And imitate this emulating, rather do not stand still

فهو الفضيل الفاضل المتفضل

بمحمد يسمو سمياً يكرما

And know that you do not fear a deterrent

Until you see including praise of one

تفضيل أفعِلْ قبل مجرور بيا

يلفى لها بتطاوع اليد ألفما

Other than the Prophet and increase about them greatest

For his traits and attachment and detachments

قصداً له بتفضل وتعجباً

ولقد تطاول فيه أفعل بعدما

Praised his days for the refuge

So he is the noble in lineage and his deeds

وكذاك أفعل للتفضل تنسب

لتطاوع المداح فيه فيلزما

Heal recovery my lips a balm

With his generosity a piety with forbearance an ignorant

وكذاك نعم وحبذا ومضاه ذا

ومثاله أكرم به ما أرحما

And excellence for others and then the decisive

He gives you an attainment and insight a favor

وتجىء أحسن أو أبر وحبذا

ولنعم شمساً هو ضاء وأكرما

By his acceptance pardon a profitable gift

So his distinction and praise will not be encompassed

واحذو لهذا محاذياً بل لا تقف

واعلم بأنك لا تخاف ملجما

Light and praise complete smiling

I am satisfied with him and with him sufficiency my authority

حتى ترى مستوعباً لمديح من

غير النبي وزده عنهم معظما

And with him fundamentals with him I shift forward

And with him an encounter for every critic

لخصاله ووصاله وفصاله

محمودة أيامه للمنأما

Or resident praising mumbling mumbling

And with him I walk and if settled with him settled

فهو الشريف بنسبة وفعاله

تشفي الشفا شفتي مرهما

My feet with opening of yaa not mute

And with him my life so if I see with him I see

بسخائه برماً بحلم جاهلا

وسُماً لغيرها وثم المحكما

And he sees with him my success and warding of the coerced

And his father the trusted trustee, his qualities

يعطيك نائله ويبصر منَّةً

بقبوله عفواً عطاء مغنما

Encompassed modesty or generosity decisive

Of vast spirit with hearts, his knowledge

فسناؤه وثناؤه لن يحصرا

ضوءاً ومدحاً تامكاًمتنسما

Wisdom and knowledge for the people through it he taught

And for his mother Az-Zahra the inheritance of what

حسبي به وبه كفاية مأخذي

وبه أَصول به أحول مقدما

For the mother Fatimah and it is not touched

And for him a tribe whose affair is not sought

وبه ملاق كل لاقٍ ظاعن

أو قاطن مترنما متلملما

And their affair for the generous so they brought together

So you see them in hardships with their calmness at it

وبه أسير وإن سكنت به سكن

قدمي بفتح يات ليس مبكما

When descending, their faces smiling

And its branches with its roots lineage sufficed

وبه حياتي فإن رأيت به أرى

ويرى به ظفري ودرأ المرغما

And for good origin the branch pure wherever

So its men build every caliph

وأبوه مامين الأمين شمائله

شملت حياءاً أو سخاءاً مبرما

Beautified and beautify its women structures lamented

So you see them Arabs and they maidens

رحب الفناء مع الصدور علومه

حكماً وعلماً للورى بها علَّما

And marvels their Arab maidens smiling

For them chambers darkness and they for it

ولأمه الزهرا خديجة إرْثُ ما

للأم فاطمة وليس مسلهما

Like full moons best lighting a darkness

All an enemy and what weighs with suspicion

وله قبيلة لا يرام مرامها

ومرامها للمكرمات فأَلْمَمَا

From what calls of the Nile or a little

This and indeed I have seen all what

فتراها عند شدائدٍ برخائها

عند النُّزول وجوهها متبسما

I counted and for its people anticipating

West north or right east

وفروعها بأصولها حسباً سمت

ولطيب أصلٍ طاب فرعٌ حيثما

Arabs and non-Arabs disbeliever or Muslim

So when the winds with spirits blew gently

فرجالها يبنون كل خليفة

حسنت وحسن نسائها بُني مأتما

I charmed myself strolling gently breathing

And at dawn I was smiling at it smiling

فتراهم عُرباً وهنّ عرائب

وغرائب أترابهن بميسما

And by its sanctity and its haraam wearing a veil

My purpose in this roaming saying of our Prophet

لهمُ خدورٌ ظلمة وهم لها

كبدور أحسن ما يضيء مظلما

And other than him then rituals clarifying sorrow

And indeed I returned and did not fulfill my roaming

كل أعد وما يزن بريبة

مما بناد نيل أو متزلما

That food strengthens eating from them

But love of the homelands its people

هذا وإني قد رأيت جميع ما

عديته ولأهله متوسما

Enticed us even if remote and bliss what

After taking my needs and benefits

غرباً شمالاً أو يميناً مطلعاً

عُرباً وعجماً كافراً أو مسلما

And the throwing returns to the lands even if blamed

Without weakness or fear of boredom

فإذا الرياح مع الرواح تنسَّمت

ألفيتني متروّحاً متنسّما

And tongue of state truthfully saying

And indeed I was satisfied with times with its bitterness

ومع الضُّحى أضحى بها متضحياً

وبقرِّها وبحرِّها متلثما

Bitter and sweet to the breasts clouded

And indeed I looked with the eye of truth upon this world

قصدي بذا الجولان قول نبينا

وسواه ثم مناسك تُجلي الغما

And beyond it and ahead of it and the hidden

And its kings and leaders its ministers

ولقد رجعت وما قضيت لجولتي

إن الطعام يقوي أكلاً منهما

Its scholars and prominent ones not bored

And its males and females and elders

لكنه حب المواطن أهلها

أوبى بنا ولسنة ولنعم ما

And young ones affectionate merciful

And I took its ways I spent with its spending

من بعد أخذ حوائجي وفوائداً

والرمي يرجع للبلاد ولو طما

And entered its entrances determined entering

And I saw from it what pleased seen by me

من غير ما وهن ولا خوف المللْ

ولسان حال يصدق المتكلّما

Aloof from others harsh

And I accompanied each not interrupting companionship

ولقد رضيت من الدهور بمرها

مراً وحلواً للصدور مغمّما

But pasture for his connection contended

And all of them not desiring my stay

ولقد نظرت بعين صدق ذا الورى

ووراءها وأمامها والمكتما

From with the lowliest to whoever is the creator of discord

And I taught each ignorant of my reality

وملوكها وقيادها وزراءها

علماءها وجهاءها لا مسئما

With my ignorance and heedlessness disgraced

And indeed I thanked my God where he turns me

وذكورها وإناثها وكبارها

وصغارها متحبّباً مترحّما

Blessings and deflects others hurting

With my needs I praised Him for knowing them

وأخذت مأخذها صرفت بصرفها

ودخلت مدخلها دخولاً أحزما

And my benefits so for you the most wise

The example of this life is the mirage of the arid desert

ورأيت منها ما يسر رأته بي

متجافياً عن غيره متصلّما

So its account is water that tires the immoral

So entice for its love and for its people

وصحبت كلاً لا صحابة قاطع

بل مورداً لوصاله متجسما

And accompany them income and caution from them

And the people if you accompany so accompany ten

وجميعهم لا مراود لإقامتي

من عند أدنى لمن يكون الفدغما

And with ten so accompany to be saved from blindness

Intellect and knowledge then your religion and be patient

وعلمت كلاً جاهلاً لحقيقتي

بتجاهلي وتغافلي متهينما

And gentleness, goodness, devoutness and forebear

And propriety and gratitude persistence persisting

ولقد شكرت إلهي حيث يولني

نعماً ويدرأ غيرها متألما

For one of ten and its people so accompany and persist

And wealth your honor preserve it that you gather

بحوائجي حمداً عليها علمتها

وفوائدي فعليكها ذا الأزكما

And praise is the best wealth take, you will not lack

And if the difficult matter descends upon you

فمثال ذي الدنيا سراب القيعتي

فحسابه ماءٌ يعيي المغشِما

Make it easy upon you, it will be easy for it, be reconciled

And take patience of elevation determination and be steadfast

فتحبّبنّ لحبها ولأهلها

واصحبهما دخلاً وحذراً منهما

For one who is steadfast and hasten where the slope

And your enemy evil be to it loyal

والناس إن تصحب فصاحب عشرة

وبعشرة فاصحب لتنجو من العمى

Willing and comfort for the loyal if blemished

And man where he is was his talk

عقلٌ وعلمٌ ثم دينك واصبرن

واللين والجود البرور وأحلما

And his suspicions where deeds decided

And his deeds where food so where is he

والعرف والشكر الدوام مداوماً

لذي عشرة وذويها فاصحب وأدوما

And debt attributed to the squanderer wherever

And perhaps the enemy manifests friendship

والمال عرضك صن به أن تجمع

والحمد خير المال خذ لن تعدما

And enmity manifests the friend perhaps

Do not look to this and that so beware

وإذا عليك غمار أمر تبهض

لا تأخذن قنوط غرٍّ مذئما

That the thrower intends farther than his throw

And wellbeing if you attain it is sold

وخُذَنَّ صبر ألاء عزم واستوي

لمن استوى وعجل حيث المرتما

Beware that you find your life surrendered

Or that you depend in matters on someone

وعداك شرياً كن لها ومواليا

أرياً وراحاً للموالي إن امما

Or that you return a favor decisively

Or that you disgrace a well-mannered one for meagerness

والمرء حيث يكون كان حديثه

وظنونه حيث الفعال محكما

Or that you revere an ignorant or blame

Or that you add to yourself morals

وفعاله حيث الطَّعام فأين هو

والدّين ينسب للمُخالل أينما

Manners and conduct your learned nature

Especially traveling and it was said in proverbs

ولربما أبدى العدو صداقة

وعداوة يبدي الصديق لربما

From us good ones travel to be completed

And if you want to travel so risk

لا تنظرن لذا وذاك فاحذرن

إن الرمي يراد أبعد من رمى

With the generous lineages sufficient protector

And if you want marriage so seek

وسلامة إن رمتها مسلومة

إياك أن تُلفى حياتك مسلَما

From a house of religion not one blamed

That the companion is desired before their path

أو أن تعوِّل في الأمور على أحد

أو أن ترد جميل عزم صمما

And the neighbor before the house sought place of descent

And the night be for what you love its concealment

أو أن تهين مهذباً لرثاثةٍ

أو أن تعظم جاهلاً أو تذمما

And for what you love its appearance days

And for a goal the moon you are eclipsed

أو أن تضيف إليك مواتياً

خُلُقَاً وسيرة طبعك المتعلما

In the eye of its onlooker forward immersed

And in foreign lands do not accompany a hypocrite

لا سيما سفراً وقيل من المثل

عنا خياراً اغربن لنعتما

For hypocrisy for evil goes away inviolable

And in foreign lands do not accompany a waverer

وإذا تريد تسافرن فخاطرن

بكرائم الأنساب تكفى مندما

For a waverer is a viper that bites poisoned

And in foreign lands do not accompany a squanderer

وإذا تريد تزوجاً فتأهّلن

من بيت دين لا يكون مُتْهَمَا

That the squanderer for devils is noted

And accompany one compatible not hypocritical straight

إنَّ الرفيق يراد قبل طريقهم

والجار قبل الدار يطلب مرسما

Extravagance remote not stingy a dirham

And accompany a free when you blame he reforms him

والليل كِنَّ لما تُحِبُّ خفاءَهُ

ولما تحب ظهوره كن أيوما

And accompany a relative who does not change a protector

And accompany good ones for good ones you gain honor

ولمقصدٍ قمراً تكون مقهقرا

في عين ناظره الأمام مؤمّما

One who nears them and by companionship you will not speak

And take like a wand a literate one and hunt

وبغربة لا تصحبن مبطناً

فبطانة للسوء تذهب محرما

For beneficial knowledge whether descended or tied

And when the detested nears take the one who drew near and draw him near

وبغربة لا تصحبن مذبذباً

فمذبذبٌ أفعى تنيب مسمما

So if you do that you will attain the destined

And if flaws sprout in you in time

وبغربة لا تصحبن مبذراً

إن المبذر للشياطين يُرْسَما

Or deficiency strikes you, journey cautious

And if you want to divorce amicably then stand

واصحب موات لا يبطن مستو

سرفاً يباعد لا يقاتر درهما

And travel or make her travel before the deterrent

And three the requital does not requite them

واصحب لحرّ إذ تلوم يقيمه

واصحب نسيباً لا يبدل معتما

A guest and a coveter then a suitor however

And three beware of them do not feel safe

واصحب خياراً فالخيار تعز من

يدنو لها وبصحبة لن تكلما

An enemy, women, or a foolish fool

And three so oppress and or else you will be oppressed

واقدم كقسورةٍ أديباً واقتنص

لعلوم نافعة حَلَتْ أو علقما

A slave thus and a son and wife so oppress

And three for love make you inherit in time

ولما نأى قِسْ بالذي دنا وادنُهُ

فإذا فعلت لذاك نلت المحتما

So modesty, propriety, and religion so hold fast

And three revere their honor you gain

وإذا نبت بك في الزمان مواضعٌ

أو نابك الكمد ارحلنّ محذرما

An elder, sultan, and your father serve

And if the difficult command is cast to you

وإذا تريد طلاق نسوية فَقُمْ

وارحل أو ارْحَلْهَا قبيل المصرما

Make it easy upon you, it will go easy to it leave in peace

And the people are like people then their lands

وثلاثة ليس المكافي يكافها

ضيفٌ وطامِعُ ثم خاطب أيما

Like their lands those with your eye so judge

And compatibility of each that you meet with what

وثلاثة إياكها لا تأمنن

فعدىً نساءً أو سفيهُ ملمّما

Satisfies you from him and doer that rarely

And other than devout keep away from one

وثلاثة فاظلم وإلا تُظلم

عبدٌ كذا ولدٌ وزوجةُ فاظلما

Who inflames for people of the times every

And contentment most excellent clothing beautify

وثلاثة لِلْحُبِّ تورث في الزمن

فتواضعٌ أدبٌ ودينٌ فالزما

With contentment for by its dignity you will not crumble

And conceal your affairs when you want its success

وثلاثة بجّل لها عزاً تنل

شيخاً وسلطاناً ووالدك اخدما

And meanings essence of truth truly so conceal

And leave pretension for the abode even if you reach

وإذا لك الأمر الصعيب رموا له

هوّن عليك يهن له تر سلما

And leave for other than enabled so you gain

And reality be and balanced with Law

والناس مثل الناس ثم بلادها

كبلادها اللائي بعينك فاحكما

And Law with reality for you so encompass

And a way for the people deliver its people

ووِفاقُ كُلٍّ أن تقابل بالذي

يرضيك منه وفاعلٌ ذي قلّما

And to you from denial of favor compiled

For difference of knowledge is not encompassed by one who besieges

وسوى تقي باعدنَّ من الذي

ينمي لأهل الدهر كلاً كلما

And the paths for the Patron after the profitable

And know that I did not mention this desiring

وقناعة أسنى اللباس تجمّلن

بقناعة فبعزها لن تهدما

And not for me what he desires said and remote

But it is for remembering and benefit of one

واكتم أمورك إذ تريد نجاحها

ومعان سِرِّ الحق حقاً فاكتما

Who desires for benefit in love filled

And for it having been said after experience

ودع التَّدَعّي للمقام ولو تصل

واترك لغير مكون كي تغنما

He desires it one of heart sincere pure

And if evidence you see the way comes

وحقيقة كن وازناً بشريعة

وشريعة بحقيقة لك فاعمما

From it comes its path take lead

And time is like the fibers know it

وطريقة للقوم سلّم أهلها

وإليك من نكران غرٍّ معجما

Like beginnings and trying a peg they

And indeed I praised after far saying for being

فخلاف علم ليس يحصر حاصر

والطّرق للمولى بعدِّ المغنما

Beloved to its hearer and loved learning

With a youth composed it dictates and its arts

واعلم بأني ما ذكرت لذا هوى

ولبيس ما يهوى يقال وبيسما

And its arts in arts advance

I tried when I saw to gift him

بل إنه لتذكُّرٍ ولفيد من

يهوى لفائدة بحب مفعما

So I gifted him after my choosing resolutely

So I knew the cub and its father the lion

ولكونه قد قيل بعد تجرّبٍ

يهواه ذو القلب السليم المسقما

And generous origin is not changed by injustice

So I made him midst heart and its passion

وإذا الدليل تراه جاء طريقة

منها يجيء صراطه خذ قلما

Passion for it and our prize hoped for

And by thanking I grew it with a group

والدهر مثل الأيكة الْعُلْما له

كقوادمٍ ومُجَرِّبٌ عودٌ هُما

Gems it loved the love for us composed

So our matters praise initially one

ولقد حمدت بعيد قول لكونه

أُحبي بسامعه وحبَّ تَعَلُّما

Rise with ability of God grow the sealed

And through it my prayers on the Prophet Muhammad

بفتى قريضا يُمْلِهِ وفنونه

وفنونه بتفنن تتقدّما

For his perfection with its perfection will not worry

And through it I praised upon conclusion and its beginning

حاولت حين رأيت أن أمْحَنه

فمنحته بعد اختياري يمما

Asking forgiveness from each sin concluding

فعلمت أن الشبل والده الأسد

وكريمُ أصلٍ لا يغيره الظما

فجعلته وسط الفؤاد وشغفه

شغفاً له وجزائنا المتيمما

وبشكره أنميته بجماعة

درراً هواها هوى لنا متنظما

فأمورنا حمداً ببدء واحد

تعلو بحول الله تنمو المختما

وبه صلاتي على النبي محمد

لكماله بكمالها لن تحتما

وبه حمدت على الختام وبدئها

مستغفراً من كل ذنب يختما
