فَوْقَ أنابيب اللُّجَيْنِ قد ضُرِبْ

As if the water of saffron is disturbed

Above the pipes of wine that was poured

كأنما أعْمِدَةٌ من الذَّهَبْ

شُدَّ إلى أطْرَافِها خُضْرُ العَذَبْ

As if pillars of gold

Tied to its edges, the green of fresh
