I do not wish for gardens, for in you is sufficient bounty,
The sight of you is refreshing, your fruits are sweet.
They say go tour the gardens, but they don't know,
What the gardens contain for us from you.
I turn my eyes, and see no beauty,
Except I see that beauty coming from you.
O sun-like face, O doe-eyed one,
O holder of staff erect and pressed.
For me from you is what, if I were to weigh,
The easiest part with all that's on earth would outweigh.
If it was said who's the best of mankind, and who
Do you love the most? I'd say this one, and it's true.
